The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is a non-profit, educational institution featuring the legendary aircraft carrier Intrepid, the space shuttle Enterprise, the world's fastest jets, and a guided missile submarine.

The Morris Museum's permanent displays include rocks, minerals, fossils, animal mounts, a model railroad, Native American crafts, pottery, carving, basketry and textiles.

One of New York's most beautiful outdoor places, the garden contains more than 12,000 plant varieties arranged by taxonomic order. Formal and informal gardens flow seamlessly into one another creating an aesthetically engaging unity throughout.  The Local Flora Section consists of eight small ecosystems—native to within 100 miles of the garden—each with its unique species of trees, shrubs, wildflowers and mosses.

At imagine That!!! children are encouraged to touch, discover, learn and explore in a 16,000 sq. foot space, that features over 50 unique exhibits. Featuring an arts & crafts room, 3 level train exhibit, dance studio, diner, grocery store, Victorian house, princess castle, real fire engine and airplane, post office, doctor & dentist play area, and much more!!

MUSEUM PASS RULES

1. Museum pass is a 3 day loan
2. $5 late charge per day
3. You can only return the pass to the Mt. Olive Public Library.
4. Reservations may be made up to one month in advance of desired date, subject to availability, and on a first come first serve basis.
5. The pass may not be renewed.

Museum Pass program is a service provided by the Mount Olive Public Library that enables customers to visit several museums.

It's a great way for friends and families having a current Library Card from the Mount Olive Public Library to enjoy education, cultural enrichment and fun!

We want as many residents as possible to have a chance to use our Museum Pass Program. Please bring the pass back after your museum visit, so that other families have the opportunity to borrow it.

FAQs

Who can borrow a pass?
All Mt. Olive cardholders, in good standing, are eligible to check out a museum pass. Must be 18 years or older.

How do I borrow a pass?
To reserve a pass ahead of time, visit the Library or call the Circulation Desk, 973-691-8686 ext. 106.
Passes may be borrowed without a reservation if available.

How far in advance may I reserve a pass?
Reservations may be made up to one month in advance of desired date, subject to availability.

Is there a fee to reserve or borrow a pass?
No!

When and where do I pick up my pass?
You pick up your reserved pass at the Circulation Desk. Only 1 museum pass may be borrowed at a time.

May I cancel my reservation?
Reservations may be canceled up to two days before your museum visit.

Are there overdue fees for late returns?
Yes, $5.00 per day
