The Friends of the Mt. Olive Library wish to thank all who participated in the March 20th Book Sale. Local and State reductions in library funding make the success of our book sales ever more important to assisting the Library programs.
However, we have been forced to cancel the scheduled April 17th donation day, due to the large number of books we still have unsold. In addition, lately, we have received many books that are un-suitable: dirty, moldy, etc., which we cannot resell, and which must then be disposed of by the Friends. We ask our donors to ensure that their books are clean and mold-free.
The next Bag o' Books Sale will be the day before Fathers' Day -- on June 19th |
