The
Archives Room is located in the basement of the Mt. Olive Public
Library. Besides the Mt. Olive Tax Duplicates from 1860 -
1983, it also houses town permits, maps, blueprints, Board of Ed.
minutes, and tax searches. The library maintains in the
Archives periodical collections covering the millennium: the deaths
of President John F. Kennedy, Princess Diana, JFK, Jr., and
Pope John Paul II. It also contains a complete collection of
newspapers dated September 12, 2001 through December 31, 2001.
