DID YOU KNOW.. ..Flanders Valley
Airport, formerly on Ironia Road, had a 2,200 foot runway, a hangar,
offices and a flight school. Opened in 1965 for the personal use of
owner John Boyce, it took on commercial use about 10 years later.
The airport was sold for $875,000.00 in June 1981. |
